I would like to learn Arabic daily or three times a week. I have some knowlege in Arabic pronouce and some words, but i would like to develope an individul communication skill. I am a beginner in Russian with a basic vocabulary, but I can read/pronounc e Cyrillic (and do limited writing in it).
I wish to study Russian because of a deep personal interest in it. I began learning it for a trip to Moscow a couple of years ago. I teach in an international school and don't discount that I may eventually work in areas where Russian may benefit me.
Though improvement is necessary in all areas, I am especially keen to become proficient in conversation. I would like to become confident in any social situations I may encounter with speakers of Russian.
I do not require an especially fast pace, since I will be in Beijing for years, most likely. Regular but not intensive lessons would be best.
In a teacher, I hope to find a professional who is patient but firm in helping me to improve. I learn fairly rapidly, so I would like a teacher who can adjust the pace according to my grasp of content.
