I am currently in the Esthetics program at St.Lawrence college. Although the program doesn't lead one to believe that you must be intelligent, I assure you that I have been tested and found enriched. I have always recieved marks of no less than A's throughout highschool and now college. My future plans include travel to Europe (specifically Italy) in order to future my education in my field. I feel French and Italian would be beneficial in this setting. I have been in a basic French class until grade 10, always getting 80% (A) or higher. However I found the classes to focas to much on reading and writing, and not enough on speaking and understanding the language. I am particularly interested in speaking and understanding , although I would like to be fluent in all areas. This is the same for Italian as well, dispite the fact I have no prior background. I am a very dedicated student, but also a very busy person. I would be willing to meet with an equally dedicated teacher two or three times a week. I would prefer a person who has been in Italy or France to teach me, as I know that the styles of French can vary depending on where you are from, however this is not set in stone.
