I just learnt a little Thai and know quite a bit of Mandarin. It was interesting to know that some words are the same such as the word for three. I wish to learn to speak more Thai and have a book entitled 'Thai for Beginners' by Benjawan Poomsan Becker. I love the conutry and also am now Buddhist and follow all the rituals and culture of Thailand. I love the north of Thailand and plan to live and work there after 2009. Hello!
I am a total beginner and have wanted to learn spanish for many years now. apart from wanting to learn to open up new avenues for my future i am obsessed with real madrid and spanish football so would like to listen to native commentary!
Depending on costs i would like to do about 3 hours a week if possible.
I have tried to teach myself but find it very difficult. i have no specific qualities i am looking for in a teacher.

I am a attempting to learn Spanish at the moment due to me going to work in Spain later on this year. However I have an interview next month and hope to learn speaking and listening skills. I have learnt the basics yet need to improve further on these and speaking and listening, as mentioned.
I spend around an hour a day trying to learn what I can. I need a tutor who is willing to help me speak fluent or near fluent Spanish, whilst understanding the language at the same time.
