We are two beginners who wish to learn the language to fluency as we have a desire to flee the rat race and move abroad in 5 to 10 years time.
We would like to learn all aspects, reading, writing and speaking.
We are fully dedicated to learning to speak the language and will work at this. We would like a teacher who will respect this and be both encouraging and constructivel y critical.

I am keen to learn Cantonese but I'm finding it increasingly difficult to find anywhere that teaches that particular dialect.
C an you help?
I am a complete beginner so you will be starting from scratch. I want to learn this language as my girlfriend and her family speak it and I wish to be able to converse with them without them having to speak English for my benefit.
I work monday - friday on the dreaded 9-5 shift so I can only study in evening/weeke nds.
I would like an understanding teacher who is direct with me and easy to get along with. I live around (near) the Portsmouth area so please understand that travelling too far is difficult. Please contact me so we can discuss cost and arrangement.
