Description

I am currently living in Guangzhou China and have found it difficult to pick up the language and build friendships with locals. I would like to focus on conversationa l Cantonese starting at a beginner's level and then work towards fluency in other areas like reading and writing.
I really care about having natural pronunciation . As a beginner, almost every are needs improvement but mostly responding to questions would be a good place to start since I have had some practice listening while living here.

I would like to take class one or two times a week. For about an hour each time. Of course, it might be difficult to schedule because of the time difference.

I will be living in Toronto Ontario for one month during the summer and may be able to take classes in person or online during that time.

I would love to have a friendly energetic teacher as I am a little bit shy about learning Chinese. I also hope that they can provide a lot of chances for me to practice speaking and give me feedback or areas to practice during the week. I love constructive criticism.
