Teaching approach:	I use my voice very sparingly in my ASL classes. If students hear everything spoken while their teacher is signing, they tend to focus on what they hear rather than what they see. I use simultaneous communication (signing and speaking at the same time) before and after the formal class or tutoring time to answer students' questions.
