Details: Looking for a career in the media sector with a special interest in academic and educational issues, Current and Public Affairs after completing a PhD in literature at Harvard and working in academia. I have native proficiency both in written and oral French and English and a good level of German and Italian after living in the United States for eight years, in the UK for three years and in Berlin for a year. Beyond my linguistic and research skills, I am also experienced in conference organization, lecturing and creating syllabi, writing, translating, proofreading, editing, publishing and blogging. I am a confident speaker as a result of participating in several colloquia—both as a speaker and as a mediator (Princeton, Yale, Boston college, the yearly North Eastern Modern Language convention, Galway, Roehampton, University of London) on various themes (political engagement, the place of female characters and female writers in literature, homosexuality and gender, shifts in poetry, art and aesthetics from medieval to contemporary literature and across cultures). I am very creative, a self-learner and a team player, with a passion for disseminating knowledge and a strong desire to help make the world a better place through my modest contribution.
