Any other great movies?
I have watched Amelie and A very Long Engagement. I enjoyed them a lot. Are there any other movies I can watch in French. I would also like to know about some great songs and books to read in French.

Here are several great French movies.
Romantics Anonymous - not sure of the French name. Very funny and brilliant acting.
The Intouchables - superb film. Je l'ai adoré. C'est drôle et en fait que vous pensez de la vie. I really love this film. It is a fairly new film. It is funny and it makes you think about life.
Tais-toi - Ruby and Quentin. Funny again. A little older. Gerard Depardieu et Jean Reno.
Hope you enjoy these films.

I like rock (for example Nickelback) and I tried to translate the Song Midnight Queen. It is one of my favourite songs. Now I want to forget the part I'd traslated as fast as I can.

Re:Re:Any other great movies?
I don't have a favourite film. I love comedy, action and cheesy romance. A film must have this three things to be a good film. I think one of the best films in Germany is "Fack ju Göhte".

Re:Re:Any other great movies?
Hi! i would recommend you all the films with De Funes and Bourville which are really great even though quite old (la grande vadrouille, rabbie jacob...), la môme, les petits mouchoirs, les choristes, le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain, Indigènes, The artist, Bienvenue chez les Chtis and Intouchables (those two are my favorites). If you want some more, tell me your preferences, if you like comedy, drama, etc I hope i already helped you !!! ^^

Re:Any other great movies?
I strongly recommend you guys to watch films written by Francis Veber. "Le Dîner de cons" is the best movie ever. When I watched it for the first tine, I laughed so hard, I thought I was going to puke and die.
