Hispanic Recipies
HEy g uys! I want to find recipies and baking tips on all kinds of hispanic foods, especially sweet breads and desserts. Every recipie I find online to try seems to be 'americanized' and isn't authentic. Please post any authentic resipies, and any recipies on how to make conchas!

Re:Re:Re:Recipes from around the world.
ooo!!! ooo!!! I have a recipe, we eat it here all the time. It's called haupia (also my favorite food), and basically all it is, is a coconut pudding-type thing.

Ingredients:
-3 cups frozen coconut milk, thawed (or 2 cups fresh coconut milk mixed with 1 cups water.)
-1/2 cup sugar
-1/2 cup cornstarch
-1/2 teaspoon vanilla
-pinch of salt

Directions:
In a saucepan (size doesn't matter), mix the coconut milk and sugar together. Then gradually put in cornstarch, and after that add the salt and vanilla. Stir while cooking on medium heat until it's thickened. Pour into a 9-inch square pan that's oiled. Cut into squares.

People also put it in cakes and such, but I don't know how to do that.

French Cooking
One of the nicest meals I ever had in France was Cassoulet, whilct we were staying in Carcassonne. I have tried recipes for it from English cookery books but they never taste quite right. Are there any good French cooks who can give me a recipe.

Re:marinara sauce
ciao Lilly,
i make homemade pasta often. I use semolina flour, but i suppose you can use unbleached flour. I measure two big handfull of semolina and one egg per person and mix this using a kitchen aid mix or doing by hand and that will take longer. I run the mix until the dough is elastic and not sticky, you may add very little warm water if too dry. Then I wrap it in plastic and rest few minutes. I then run it throu the hand machine three times per notch till number 7 notch . hope this helps......auguri.Francy

Re:i need help.
hi Missy
it is nice to want to know how to cook...... italian cooking is very simple and super tasty, but you have to use only fresh infredients and they are very easy to find at the store. I have so many recepies to share but it would help if you tell me what you prefer, either pasta dishes...meat dishes desserts or other..let me know....ciao, Francy
