Russian childrens books
Hi,
I'm learning russian and would like to read something else than the texts from my course. I was thinking about books for children but I'm having a hard time finding suitable titles.
Can anyone recommend me something?

Give me feedback on my first poem in Danish
Hi, I don't know if this is the right place to post this, but...one of the ways I like to practice a new language is to write poetry. Since grammar rules get bent all the time in poetry, it makes me feel a little easier about expressing myself. Anyway, I just started learning Danish and wrote this...hoping some native Danish speakers will give me some feedback on word choice, structure, etc. Here's the poem:
Skjule
Monsteret sover
Træde let
Ikke grine højlydt (ikke grine på alle)
Det vil høre dig
Hvis du finder glæde
Eller et hjem
Hvis du glemmer udyret (for selv et øjeblik)
Det vil find dig
Monster forråder
Det er uretfærdig
Det er ufølsom (hvad ville det føles)
Den er død
Monsteret sov
Det er vågen nu
Ikke synge højlydt (ikke synge på alle)
Det vil finde dig

En ce moment, je lis Le Trône de Fer et je pense qu'il est superbe. Je l'ai commencé à Noël et je ne peut pas arrêter de le lire. J'adore la lecture, particulièrement des livres de fantasy. Je fais la Française à l'école et s'il y a des gens qui veut discuter des livres, je suis ici et heureuse pour parler aves vous!

Hello Anna. I have only read the the Russian Film Director Andrey Tarkovsky's book "Sculpting in Time". It is interesting, especially him saying that Time is the primary medium of Cinema.
I have met many people who have read many Russian authors and I have heard many writers including English speaking ones who have been inspired by Russian authors. Vladimir Nabokov is probably the greatest Russian writer so far or at least that's what many people claim.
Maybe Ernest Hemingway, Stephen King or Martin Amis might be a good place to start reading an English language book.
