I'm trying to read the original Roadside Picnic
My first language is English and I want to learn Russian. Since I love sci-fi, I'm trying to read Roadside Picnic but some words in there I can't find in my English Russian dictionary. I can only comprehend some of it. If you speak Russian and have read this book, help would be appreciated.

Yes I think so too. I read it in german and in english, it was absolutely perfect. I'm so in love with that unique lovestory. The book was great and I really cry a lot, the film was good, but not so genius how the book was, do you think so too?

i love it so much, i love the story, because it's so sweet how their fall in love slowly and then absolutely. John green is a great author for young people! :)

I have read murakami's english translated norwegian wood. I also wonder since i think different languages have different feels to it especially when it comes to jokes and phrases. but i cant speak japanese anyway so..

I am really interested in books and reading is my first interest.
Nowadays I do not have much time to read but I try to read at least one book a month.
Last books that I read and enjoyed a lot was a Persian book, it was about the life of a brutal man and what he did to his wife an girlfriend.The name was" Te last Wineglass". it was a good book just to fill your free time.To be honest, I haven't read any valuable book.
But last year I read a book about an Afghan boy who was born and grow pi Afghanistan and then they immigrate to U.S.The name of book was" Kite Runner".
I really really enjoyed it and it changed my opinion about this country and the people.After reading this book I am not the same by no means. It really broadened my horizons.
